HDR 8x8 LED Matrix (SK9822)

A grid of 64 beautiful SK9822 addressable LEDs, flicker-free with an incredible high dynamic range (HDR).

This is a small 71mm x 71mm (2.8" square) matrix of LEDs arranged in an 8x8 layout. These have an input and output, so are chainable for larger configurations.

These can be set next to each other and combined to create larger displays, such as this 16x16 panel using 4 of the 8x8 panels:

The LEDs are SK9822 (APA102 / DotStar compatible) and can be used with any library or LED controller that supports APA102 / DotStar. These work very well with Pixelblaze LED controllers, which can use the extra 5 bits of brightness control for a high dynamic range (HDR) equivalent to 39 bit color (13 bits per channel).

In this kit you get the PCB with LEDs assembled (pictured). Some soldering is involved to attach wires or a connector to the panel (not included).
